Learn how to make Maharashtrian style Sukat Kalvan - dry prawn curry recipe from our chef Archana on Ruchkar Mejwani. This curry goes very well with rice, bhakri or chapati. <br /> <br />Ingredients: <br /> <br />2 tbsp Oil <br />1 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste <br />1/2 tsp Turmeric <br />1 Onion, chopped <br />1 Potato, chopped <br />1 Cup Sukat, soaked <br />1 tbsp Mix Masala <br />1 Cup Coconut Milk <br />1 tsp Tamarind Pulp <br />Salt to taste <br />Coriander Leaves <br />Water <br /> <br />Method: <br /> <br />- Firstly, soak the dried Prawns in some water for 30 minutes. <br />- In a pan heat some oil. <br />- Add ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, onion, coriander leaves & potato. Saute everything well. <br />- Then add soaked prawn, mix masala, salt & water. Mix well. <br />- Cover it with a lid and let everything cook for 15 minutes. <br />- Add coconut milk & tamarind pulp. Mix everything well. <br />- Cover it again and let everything simmer for 5 minutes. <br />- Sukat Kalvan is ready to be served.
